Born and raised in small town Alberta, Spencer Edward Noonan grew up loving music and
aspiring to become the biggest musician in the world (and maybe make the world a better
place while doing it!) Growing up seeing his mother lead Worship at his local Church gave
Spencer a way to let his musical heart out by helping his mother on stage
Spencer turned 12 he picked up a guitar for the first time and he hasn’t put it down
since. He wasn’t amazing at the beginning, but he still tried his best. later in school as well,
he would join a class called “Rock & Pop” that let him and other students come together to
make a band and express themselves through music and performance. Because of that
class, Spencer started to listen to rock and indie music instead of just listening to whatever
his Dad put on the radio. This gave him some of his earliest influences like Weezer, MGK,
and Lovejoy
When Spencer turned 15 he finally decided to make the leap of faith and begin to write and
release music under the name Socialphobia. He would release many singles, 2 EP’s, and 5
full-length albums. Spencer found little success through that, but still was able to learned a
lot about writing music and creating art. Unfortunately he struggled to write music in the
later half of 2024 into 2025. Though, after some deep soul-searching he’d find a new spark
of creativity
Now he’s the singer-songwriter he’s always wanted to be. Inspired by Pinegrove, Jack Kays,
and Modern Baseball, he’s Ed Pinely
